Chapter Meeting
March 5, 2007The chapter held its monthly meeting on March 5th at 7pm in the Student Union Room 209. The chapter heard from quest speakers about their campaigns. During new business officers were elected for the 2007-2008 academic year. More preparations were discussed for Open House and the March of Dimes Walk-America. Recruitment ideas at the FBLA State Leadership Conference were considered.
Chapter Meeting
February 12, 2007The chapter held its monthly meeting on February 12th at 7pm in the Student Union Stateroom 2. The meeting included discussion about helping with the Walk-America on May 19, participating at the State Leadership Conference, St. Patricks Day Race, and K-State Open House.
Telefund
February 11, 2007Members of the chapter participated in the annual University Telefund sponsored by the K-State Foundation. Participating during the College of Business calling sessions, members called K-State Alumni to help raise funds for scholarships and other University dollars to sponsor sutdent activities.
Chapter Meeting
January 29, 2007The Chapter held its first meeting of the spring semester. Members agreed to participate in Telefund for the College of Business representing our organization. The Chapter agreed to help with the Walk-America that would be held on-campus on Saturday March 19th.
Activities Carnival
January 18, 2007Phi Beta Lambda hosted a table at the All-University Activities Carnival. The served as a recruitment tool to meet K-Staters that were interested in getting involved in a business organization or had heard of FBLA in high school.
Chapter Meeting
September 11, 2006The Chapter held its first meeting of the new year. TJ Lorbach was elected as chapter secretary and many recruitment ideas were discussed. The chapter set its next meeting date for October 9, and planned on having a Fall Social to promote recruitment. Several officers expressed interest in attendting the SFLC and NFLC.
Executive Meeting
August 28, 2006The Executive Board met on August 28 at 5:30 pm on the third floor of Calvin to set dates for meetings and discuss events for the upcoming year. It was expressed the the chapter would be interested in participating in a March of Dimes event, but was unsure on the time the Manhattan Walk-America was held.
Website Updated
July 31, 2006The K-State Phi Beta Lambda website was updated with a new layout on July 31st. The redesigned site has updated information for chapter members and potential members. The site will be kept up-to-date with upcoming chapter meeting and events.
Officers Elected
April 25, 2006Officers for the 2006-2007 academic year were elected on March 28th and installed on April 25th. Officers elected were President, Danielle Senn; Vice-President, Jessica Holland; Treasurer, Brett Eakin; and Webmaster, Matt Ebert. Past officers were thanked for their dedication to this organization during the past year.
